The body of 17-year-old, Chrissie Watson, was found early this morning after what has appeared to be an attack of some kind.
Watson, an Amity High School Senior and member of the varsity swim team, was seen leaving a beachside party with Christopher Hoggenbottam. Hoggenbottam notified police after losing sight of Watson.
Both Watson and Hoggenbottam, a sophomore at Trinity College, were seen leaving a party in which alcohol and possibly marijuana were involved around 11pm. The party was on a remote side of the island, and like most of the beaches in Amity, are safe for the public.
